Our Beliefs

...in the one true and living God, who has manifested himself as the Father in creation,
the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration.
(I Timothy 1:17; 3:16, Acts 2:4, I John 5:7)

...in the divine inspiration of the Bible, and that the scriptures we possess today are the sufficient
rule of faith and practice, and the final authority for truth and salvation being God's Word to man.
(II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21)

...in the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news that the only begotten Son of God died for us
on Calvary's cross, was buried but rose again the third day, and is now exalted as King of Kings
and Lord of Lords.
(I Corinthians 15:1-4)

...in the original plan of salvation, as proclaimed for the first time on the Day of Pentecost,
which includes sincere repentance, water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ,
and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in tongues.
(Acts 2:1-39; 10:44-48; 19:1-6)

...in practicing genuine Christianity, through love for God and mankind, prayer, obedience to
the Bible, heartfelt worship, sharing our faith, commitment to family, honesty, holiness, and
dedication to the Kingdom of God on earth.
(Romans 12 & 13, Colossians 3 & 4, Hebrews 12 & 13)

...in the second coming of Christ, that glorious day when Jesus shall return for
His people and we will rise to meet Him in the air to be with Him forever.
(I Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Psalm 134:2

We sing with all our hearts because...
In the Bible we read, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise and rejoice, and sing praise."
Psalm 98:4

We play musical instruments because...
In the Bible we read, "And all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments."
II Samuel 6:5

We clap and shout unto God because...
In the Bible we read, "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph."
Psalm 47:1

We dance before the Lord because...
In the Bible we read, "Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs."
Psalm 150:4

We allow the operation of the spiritual gifts because...
In the Bible we read "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal."
I Corinthians 12:4-7
